Chronic Illness Support Group
Sometimes, you’d just like an opportunity to gather with warm, friendly, and open people to discuss navigating life both with a chronic illness and for those who are caregiving. That’s what Support Group is all about.
Whether you're navigating the complexities of a diagnosis, managing daily symptoms, or seeking emotional support, this group offers a compassionate community that understands the realities of chronic conditions. Through open discussions, shared resources, and uplifting conversations, we aim to empower one another, foster resilience, and build meaningful connections.
Everyone is welcome—whether you are living with a chronic illness, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for a place to learn and grow together. Join us as we create a space of understanding, strength, and support. We meet on the even Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
Sip N’ Chat
Sip N’ Chat is your weekly virtual coffee or tea date with friends. It’s an opportunity to check in with one another, to talk and to be heard, about our lives, our thoughts, our worries and our joys. We meet every Monday at 11am via Zoom, and we’d love for you to join us. For more information, or to participate, contact Donna at dfonsb@gmail.com.
Safe Space Meals
At Community Church of Chesterland, our Safe Space Meal Program is more than a shared table — it’s a shared commitment to love, dignity, and community. Once a month, we gather to offer a free, nourishing meal in a welcoming environment where everyone belongs.
Whether you’re seeking connection, support, or simply a warm meal without judgment, you’re welcome here — just as you are.
